It's a TAMIL flim directed by Vetri Maran, a legendary, cult classic movie maker. Personally I want to call him as a Martin sorcerer of tamil cinema for his movie making skills. He made six movies which is enough to withstand his name for a Century. Talking of vada chennai it's a raw gangster movie in a one hand and in other which makes a gangster, how politics and other factors influencing in the protagonist life ANBU. What made Anbu life into a chaos and how he handled it and not only he handled his problem but also his whole people's problem. 

The narration made the movie more interesting for which the credits goes to the same man VETRI MARAN, you can feel the essence that's needed for the narrtation. 

As it's a fact that he keeps his flims close to reality, watching his movie is like of a Black holes pulling power , it makes you pull towards the movie reality and once you pulled there is no escape form that, you will be thinking you as the man in action there and make you think what I'm gonna do now. 

In tamil we say his movies as 

  "WOMMALA ITHAN DA CINEMA"
